| After a pitch inspection today at 1pm, tomorrow's FA Carlsberg Trophy Round 3 match between Bath City and Grimsby Town has been postponed due to a frozen pitch. This has the knock on effect that our scheduled home fixture against the Mariners on Tuesday 7th February has now been postponed as they will now have to travel to Bath City instead. A new date has been agreed but needs League approval. Lambs next home game will now Kidderminster on the 11th Feb, ko 3.00pm |

After speaking with Fleetwood the League leaders are 99% certain that Saturday's match at their impressive Highbury Stadium will go ahead as scheduled. The club has frost protection covers on the pitch so as long as the temperatures do not go down into double figures the Lancashire club are confident the game will go ahead. After weeks of speculation Kettering Town's Jean-Paul Marna finally put pen to paper on a deal on transfer deadline day which will keep the Frenchman at the Lamb until the end of the 2012/13 season. Jean-Paul will wear the number 7 shirt vacated by Jay Smith's move to AFC Telford United. |

Lambs keeper Jonathan Hedge has bounced back from his Everton disappointment to not only claim his First Team shirt but also keep his place in the England C squad which has been named for the International against Italy at Fleetwood on Tuesday 28th February. With 16 players named for the team Jonathan will be fighting for the number one shirt with Ebbsfleet United's Preston Edwards. |
